Water Color Fishes

I have a 29 gallon tank and it has been setup for almost three years now. would it be okay to add one of those air pumps to increase the oxygen level. Im not exactly sure what its called, but its like a little motor thing with a tube that goes into the aquarium and pumps air and makes bubbles.

I have a 5-6 inch RES turtle who has regulat fish tank gravel in his tank and everyone says they eat it. But I have never seen him try to eat it and he is well fed (i am by his tank a lot and watch him alot.)

I want to keep my aquarium mostly natural and I’m looking for plants that can thrive in a freshwater tropical environment, mostly plants used for the background and foreground, and "carpet" plants. This is all for a 20 gallon aquarium. please help.

I got a betta and had it in a tank and the water wasn’t staying as clean as I wanted it to be so I got a small filter and it seems fine. I am not sure if it is filtering the water conditioner I put in there.

I have a young ball python with a recently updated tank. However, I can’t seem to find a great desert background. I need one that is 24” tall, which makes it very difficult. It doesn’t HAVE to be a desert background, but I’d like something that is reptile oriented. All the backgrounds I find are for aquariums. Does anyone know a great store/website to purchase backgrounds??

We have just bought a 3D foam aquarium background and were told to use Gold Label Underwater Sealant. We found this was rubbish and did not work. Does anyone have these in their tanks and what have you used to stick them?

I have had my fish tank for a few months and without really thinking I bought white gravel which is very course. It now has brown patches and I regularly syphon debris up and it still looks dirty. I want to change to a finer gravel of a more natural colour. Would I be able to do this in one day? If so, how?
